Africa Objective old

After more than a year sitting about, waiting for the world to sort itself out, we realised that wasn’t going to happen any time soon, so went anyway. After many plans that failed I am on my way to Dakar in Senegal. Getting the car shipped has been a rollercoaster, but I am told it is on its way. Unfortunately without any of our equipment, as the shipping line announced it had to be completely empty. We’ve had to leave half our gear, and the rest is crammed into four overweight bags. Packing has been so tight that bedding and clothes have had to be left behind. I did manage to squeeze one pair of pants into my laptop bag, so I should be ok for the first month at least.

So it begins.

Have a look at the Africa Objective website for strange tales of Africa.
