Unlikely Stories is a diverse collection of some of my photography and stories. Some of it is personal, some of it is fantasy, some is serious, some is nonsense and some of it might actually be true. If anyone can work out what is going on in the photo above let me know. It took me months, and I took the photo. And please comment on any of the stories and photos. I have spent years creating work and never showing it to anyone, so now is the time to find out how people react to it and what you think. Should I stick to carpentry?

All work, both written and photography is my own and copyright ©Simon Barr. The majority of the photos were taken on a Minolta XG-M made in the 1980’s and the black and white images were developed by me. The stories came from my head, which dates back to the 1960’s.
